The Levels
To help parents choose the appropriate levels, here is a guide to the classification system.
Children may be moved to a different group based on the teacher’s assessment.
Elementary Level (Ages 8–11)
Depending on the number of participants at this level, two groups may be created:
Group A
Includes older participants or those with more dance experience,
Also includes students from the Paris Opera Ballet School or other prestigious institutions, as well as those who have attended our workshop multiple times.
Group B
Includes participants who are beginners or attending for the first time,
The focus is placed more on the fundamentals of classical ballet.
Intermediate Level (Ages 12–15)
The difference between the Elementary and Intermediate levels lies in age and maturity:
Two classes per day for Elementary and three for Intermediate, The Intermediate level is more intensive. A solid foundation in classical ballet is required.
For Girls:
They should have some experience working en pointe.
For Boys:
A minimum number of years of classical ballet training is required.
Advanced Level (Ages 12–15)
Participants should have a substantial number of weekly dance hours,
Attendance at a professional training school is expected.
For Girls:
They should already possess technical proficiency en pointe.
Pre-Professional Level (Ages 16 and Up)
Students must be enrolled in prestigious dance schools,
Have extensive experience,
Beyond mastering the basics, focus is on technique and variations from the repertoire,
Proficiency in pointe work is required.
